ABOUT
The Board of County Commissioners' meet every Tuesday morning at 9:00 A.M. in the conference room of the Bristol County Retirement Board located at 645 County Street, County Crossing, Taunton, MA 02780. The County of Bristol is comprised of the following cities and towns:

BRISTOL COUNTY COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE:
The Bristol County Commissioners' Office is located on the second floor of the Taunton Superior Courthouse, Room 48. Ms. Jaye Cioper, Administrator/Confidential Secretary to the County Commissioners', oversees a staff of two and conducts the day to day business of the County.
BRISTOL COUNTY TREASURER'S OFFICE:
The Bristol County Treasurer is Kevin J. Finnerty. The Treasurer's Office is also located in the Taunton Superior Courthouse, Room 24. This office is staffed by four employees under the supervision of Maria Pimental, Director of Accounting.

BRISTOL COUNTY CUSTODIAL/FACILITIES DEPARTMENT:
The Commissioners' provide for the maintenance and upkeep of the following buildings,with a staff of thirty-six people.

PROJECTS
Over the past year, the County of Bristol has been working diligently to provide ADA elevator accessibility to the New Bedford and Fall River Registry of Deeds buildings which have been completed. We are currently working together with the state on the Taunton Registry of Deeds elevator project.
The new additions have been designed to ensure the architectural integrity of the buildings. This was achieved through the vision and insight of Mr. Owen Hackett of Hackett Associates/Architects of New Bedford. Mr. Hackett has been involved with the County of Bristol for over 35 years and his genius shows in the detail and conformity of these additions. With less than a 2% increase in change orders, Mr. Hackett was able to provide a design that blends beautifully into the landscape of these old buildings.
